You'll find ski touring information on Japan, the Himalayas, the Andes, the Alps, Alaska, New Zealand and the Pyrenees, with more locations such as Kazahkstan, Turkey and Norway being added soon. Backcountry statistics like snowfall and weather, plus terrain and access are all included, as well as backcountry guidebook resources and backcountry cabin possibilities, and finally links to backcountry accomodation and ski touring guide services are listed.
Backcountry Logistics is here for one reason only: to help you get to the best backcountry skiing and snowboarding that the world has to offer. While we haven’t yet nearly exhausted all the world wide backcountry possibilities , we do have a good idea of where some of the earths very best backcountry is and we want to share that information to help you enjoy some of it.
