Chile's south is dotted with many volcanoes that are perfect for ski touring. Decent access, long descents and often perfect corn snow make them an ideal spring destination. Some have ski hills on them and some don't, making access easier or more difficult. The scenery, however, is always spectacular.Volcan Villarica, just outside Pucon, is the most famous and has some great touring on it. Other volcanoes include Lonquimay, Llaima, Antuco and Osorno, all with good possibilites. There are many more however, and we have only scratched the surface.
