Location: base of Sandamyama at end of minor road.
Ski options: good. At 1000m, surrounded by mountains.
Facilities: Hot spring, kitchen for self catering, snacks for sale, snowshoes for hire. Note that there is no restaurant. No English spoken.
Getting there: A bus leaves every hour from Kami Furano train station, ¥500. Or car from Kami Furano. 30 minutes. |

Locaction: base of tokachidake at end of road.
Ski options: Epic. At 1280m, surrounded by mountains. Truly a backcountry cabin location.
