Access by public transport is easy. Furano is served by trains and buses so it is easy to get here from anywhere in Hokkaido. |

If you are touring Hokkaido it may be worth having a hire car, particularly if you want to get to the terrain further away from the Furano ski hill, such as Ashibetsu. There are good highways leading to Furano and good secondary roads giving access to the range. |
