There is one cabin in the Furano area, at the base of Ashibetsu. It has no facilities and as it is not much higher than the car park it doesn’t offer a huge advantage for ascending Ashibetsu. However, for a multiday trip exploring Ashibetsu it may be worth it. It is free and does not require a booking. Its location can be found on topographic maps of the area.
